Bring your pooch to the beach on Saturday for a doggy get-together!

The "Splish Splash Bark Bash" event will be held at Jupiter Beach from 4-6 p.m. Let your pup run free and play with other dogs along the shoreline.

A $10 donation would be appreciated but is not required. The event is to support the '100+ Abandoned Dogs of Everglades Fl,' a 501c3 non-profit organization. Their mission: "To rescue [dogs], bring them back to health, and show them that not all humans are bad, and that love and a warm bed are just around the corner. Beyond that, we work to raise awareness about this brutal reality happening right in our community, with the hope that our message will result in alternative solutions and more responsible and humane decisions by pet owners."

The organization is dependent upon support from the community to fund rescues and pay for vet bills. Make a difference by donating, fostering, and/or adopting. The organization has rescued more than 3,700 dogs to date. Discover more at the event while your dogs run and play with local pups and those abandoned.
