Economist Says a Population Boom is Coming to Palm Beaches & the Treasure Coast

Posted by Amanda Hicks on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at 3:47pm.

According to a WPTV News interview with Dr. Jerry Parrish, chief economist at the Florida Chamber Foundation, Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast can expect a 25-35% population growth over the next 10 years.

Parrish said the state of Florida has 250,000 jobs that need to be filled. As metro areas, Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast can expect an influx of new residents, and with lots of homes available, entertainment activities for all ages and a blue coastline, the area will be attractive to anyone searching for jobs in the state.
