Evening Bike Rides at Riverbend Park
Take an evening to enjoy nature at twilight hour with a bike ride through the tranquil Riverbend Park. The evening bike tours at Riverbend Park are led by a guide who specializes in Floridian wildlife to help you spot all of the special creatures along your tour. Bicycles are also available for rent.Â
Riverbend Park is a beautiful park and preserve in west Jupiter. The park spans 665 acres and is home to a wide variety of Floridian wildlife and plants. Â
Some of the features of the park include 7 miles of equestrian trails and special equestrian trailer parking, 10 miles of biking and walking trails throughout the pine forest and many designated picnic areas. There are three different picnic pavilions and regions spread out among the park which make it an ideal place to pack a picnic style meal and hike, bike or ride along to your desired lunch spot. The pavilions seat anywhere from 20 to 45 people and offer grills, and restrooms. You may also reserve the island picnic pavilion or river pavilion for special parties out on a swampy island. Riverbend Park also offers a concession stand that is open everyday except for Tuesday and Wednesday. Canoeing and kayaking is also encouraged and there is even a rental pavilion if you do not wish to bring your ownÂ
The ride takes place at 7 p.m. Friday. 9060 Indiantown Road, Jupiter. $10. Reservations required. Information: 561-741-1359; www.pbcgov.com/parks
