For the past 19 years, the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge has held the Everglades Day Festival, a family event to have fun while learning. 

Discover the creatures, history, and archeology of the Everglades in the wetlands at the Loxahatchee Refuge. The festival is all outdoors and offers adventures through the park that you can't do anywhere else. Learn from wildlife presentations and exhibits featuring cool animals that live in this ecosystem like alligators and birds of prey. Play games, go on a guided hike, paddle around canoeing, ar try fishing. Enjoy speakers and demonstrations, live music, and food trucks.

This environmental event celebrates the beauty of our local ecosystems and brings family together for a da of outdoor fun. 

It's all happening this Saturday, February 10th from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. The event is totally free.

The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is located at 10216 Lee Rd., Boynton Beach.
