Fun and Free Summer Events at City Place!

Summer in south Florida is filled with fun weekend events, concerts and holidays that celebrate the lifestyle we live down here. Here are some good ones to consider adding to your schedule: Family Fun Fest and Summer Country Concerts at City Place of West Palm Beach.

Coming to City Place this summer are Scotty McCreery (winner of American Idol), Gloriana & Jana Kramer and Craig Morgan. These well-known, country artists will be performing free concerts on the Plaza. Before the concert you can enjoy dinner and drinks at one of the many restaurants and bars that surround the area including, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Bellagio for Italian, BB Kings for a Jazz scene and more. City Place also features great shopping with unique boutiques and large brand-name stores. Gelato shops and a Ghirardelli chocolate store add a sweet option for the kids or the adults!

Taking place on the second Saturday of every month, this sporting festival lights up the town center. Admission is free and the event takes place from 2pm to 5 pm. Family Fun Fest offers over 15 different sports for kids to try and play including ice skating, gymnastics, golf, football, baseball, volleyball and more. Kids will get to watch live demonstrations from professional athletes from the Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins and the Florida Panthers. The kids will get hands on experience and great instruction from top players. Live entertainment, music and food vendors are plentiful as well.
