Jupiter is a town filled with activity, studded with celebrities, the best golf in the country and the best fishing. Its no wonder a desire of people across the country to own real estate in Jupiter has grown so much. For those who live in Jupiter currently or have a second home here, or those who just visit local loved ones, you may want to find activities for your youngsters while spending time in Jupiter.

Some activities for kids under 8 years of age, that are unique to Jupiter, are the perfect way to soak up the Jupiter life. Take your little one to one of these local events.

Starfish & Coffee Story Time at the Loxahatchee River Center

Every Thursday morning at the River Center is Starfish & Coffee Story Time. Enjoy stories about the sea and animals with songs, games and touch tanks. Starfish Story Time is perfect for little ones under the age of 7.

Starfish & Coffee Story Time is also a nice place for parents to relax with the other parents and a cup of coffee while the kids listen and learn. The kids can touch different animals in the touch tank to help educate in a fun and hands on way about the marine animals in our area.

Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids

Join the friendly staff of the Jupiter Lighthouse & Museum under the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse at the Seminole Chickee Hut for story time and crafts. This story time and craft event focuses only on the lighthouse keepers, Florida’s decorated history and the famous people, plants and animals of the lighthouse area. Perfect for moms, dads and grandparents to bring their little ones, this program is ideal for kids ages 8 and under. Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts is free to all, but space is limited and a reservation is required the Friday before the program date you’d like to join.
