Here are some great restaurants to try in Boca Raton.

Twenty Twenty Grille

Twenty Twenty Grille is superb restaurant serving Contemporary American cuisine. Located in Royal Palms Place in Boca Raton, Twenty Twenty features world-acclaimed chefs, husband and wife Ron and Rhonda, who sought to use their culinary art knowledge in Food Arts, developing the finest menu options with a flare of creativity. Locally grown ingredients are used in every meal. Outdoor seating is available, providing a lovely setting under the stars for a memorable romantic evening. Favorite menu items include yellow snapper and cranberry-infused Bison chop, and patrons consistently appreciate the professionalism and knowledge of their servers.

Six Tables

Opened in 2004, Six Tables was opened by a husband and wife team and caters to the idea of serving a chef’s five course dinner. With only a limited number of reservations, due to Six Tables’ growing popularity and stellar reputation, the focus here is on European-style dining within a warm and tranquil atmosphere. The chef is very much a part of the dining experience, greeting each customer as they enter and offering and describing different menu options once seated. Based on the number of reservations, the chef will order a unique number of ingredients from local sources and cook these ingredients the same afternoon, assuring only the freshest possible outcome.

Tin Muffin Café

The Tin Muffin Café is a quaint little restaurant in Boca Raton serving sandwiches, soup, and salad. It is small and quiet and without seating, but those who manage to score a table are never disappointed. Tin Muffin Café is mostly known for their amazing salad platters, but visitors also enjoy the broccoli cheddar quiche, chicken pot pie, and chicken and pecan quiche. The desserts are also amazing, with chocolate cake and banana cake as the favorites.

Piccolino Italian Ristorante

Piccolino Italian Ristorante is notorious for serving authentic Italian cuisine in downtown Boca Raton. Due to its exclusive nature, only 8 to 12 tables are available, allowing visitors to receive the maximum level of service and attention. Veal parmesan is a definite highlight, with some customers even claiming it’s the best they’ve ever had. The owner and his wife are very involved, taking care of the tables themselves and describing menu items in full detail. Also quite popular are the handmade desserts such as tiramisu, profiteroles, and cheesecake.

Mississippi Sweets

Open for over twenty years, Mississippi Sweets is a local barbeque restaurant serving delicious ribs, chicken, and burgers. It is a favorite among locals, who continue to rave that the restaurant serves the best ribs they’ve ever had. It isn’t just the ribs, however, that manage to win over visitors’ taste buds. Equally as enjoyable are the pulled pork, tractor treads (waffle fries), and of course the one-of-a-kind barbeque sauce. Mississippi Sweets offers locations in Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach. Be sure to show up early because it’s usually quite busy.
