Below are some family friendly Halloween events in Palm Beach County.

 

Kooky Halloween

The Town of Jupiter is hosting their annual Kooky Halloween event on October 30th. Dress up in your best costume for a night of family fun and a flashlight “Egg Haunt”! The Jupiter Community Center will be filled with fun games, bounce houses, music and prizes. This event is free, but don’t forget to BYOB (bring your own bag) to trick-or-treat a night early!

Pumpkin Bash

Jupiter’s newest attraction is joining in on the Halloween fun this year. Harbourside Place and Little Smiles invites the whole family to come to their first annual Pumpkin Bash! On Saturday, October 17th put your costumes on and trick-or-treat around Harbourside Place! They will have their own pumpkin patch where families can pick a free pumpkin. Kids can enjoy a petting zoo, inflatables, face painting, arts & crafts, a balloon artist and more! Patty Shukla, award winning children’s musician and YouTube star, will be performing on Harbourside’s beautiful waterfront stage.

Halloween Spooktacular

On Saturday, October 31st Legacy Place in Palm Beach Gardens will transform into “Legacy City”, a Wizard of Oz themed Halloween event. Dorothy will be waiting for you at the entrance next to Shoe Carnival. Here you will receive a goodie bag and a “Legacy City Passport” to travel the Yellow Brick Road. Trick-or-treat along the way and enjoy activities such as spooky storytelling, pumpkin decorating, cookie decorating, prizes and face painting! So, bring your whole family, including the furry ones, for an entertaining Halloween day!

Turtleween

Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is putting on a “spooktacular” event on Saturday, October 24th. This non-profit education and ocean conservation facility will have conservation-themed games, a bioluminescence show, face painting, arts & crafts and kid’s story time! There will be costume contests, photo-ops and trick-or-treating, so don’t forget your costume!

Boo at the Zoo

The Palm Beach Zoo is hosting a wild Halloween celebration! For the 17th year, our local zoo will offer a safe and exciting environment for trick-or-treating. On select dates, there will be activities and a pumpkin patch for kids of all ages to enjoy! Activities include costume contests, dance parties, a hay stack hunt, wildlife shows and face painting!

Spooky Snooze: Overnights at the Zoo

Do you dare to spend the night at the zoo? If so, the Palm Beach Zoo welcomes you to their special Halloween-themed Spooky Snooze event! They promise the animals are not so scary! Children 6 and up can enjoy pumpkin painting, animal encounters, a night time tour and a special spooky snack with their parents.

Spooky Science Night at the Museum

Each month guests of all ages can come to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium after hours to enjoy a night of fun! On October 30th, the museum will host a special Spooky Science Night at the Museum. The family-fun night will feature interactive science crafts, activities, planetarium shows and exhibits! Come dressed in a costume to partake in the parade and win a special prize!

Scarecrow Festival

The 6th Annual Scarecrow Festival will take place on October 17th outside of the Johnson History Museum in West Palm Beach! Whether you are entering the contest or just observing, their trademark scarecrow competition is one you won’t want to miss! This fall themed event will include live music, a scavenger hunt inside the museum, a corn shucking contest, a kid’s pie eating competition, pumpkin decorating and more!
