Palm Beach's Worth Avenue has just ranked in the top 10 most expensive retail districts in the Western Hemisphere according to the 2017 Main Streets Across the World retail report by Crushman & Wakefield. Worth Ave was ranked 8th in rent per square foot following Miami Beach's Lincoln Road in the 5th spot.
It's no wonder why only the finest shops are at Worth Avenue. An upscale shopping and dining area, the Avenue features 250 shops, galleries, resorts, and restaurants, stretching four blocks and leading out to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Some choice stores include Gucci, Chanel, Emilio Pucci, Luis Vuitton, Michael Kors, David Maison Couture, and restaurants like Renato's, Pizza al Fresco, and Cafe Boulud.
While big retail stores and malls are closing around the country, more personalized shopping experiences in "main street" areas continue to draw shoppers. Areas that offer a mixed variety of retail including galleries, restaurants, offices, residences, etc., are the trending shopping desires.
Worth Avenue is a fashionable, high-end shopping district that is a favorite for many of the Palm Beach elite. If you haven't been yet, plan a day to enjoy this high-class shopping and dining experience on the waterfront.
