How You Can Lend a Helping Hand in Palm Beach County During the Coronavirus

If you are among those most vulnerable for the Coronavirus, the main thing you can do to help out is simply staying home and keeping yourself as healthy as possible. If, however, you are not in the most-vulnerable category, there are some additional things you can do.

Volunteer with Meals on Wheels

Some Meals on Wheels chapters are looking for healthy volunteers who can be on call to make deliveries during the coronavirus outbreak. Many chapters also keep in touch with seniors at a distance through “telephone reassurance” programs. To volunteer in your area, find your local Meals on Wheels provider here.

Donate Money

One of the most direct ways you can help out while still practicing social distancing is by donating money. There are a number of legitimate organizations that are doing great work. These include:
