The words “South Florida” and “the beach” are pretty much synonyms to those of us who live here or vacation here.

One of the most alluring qualities of southern Florida is its miles and miles of pristine coastline. Whether you dream of the oceanfront mansions of Palm Beach and Jupiter Island or you want to tee off and be sprayed with the salt air, the beaches are the lifeblood of our area.

If you have had enough of sunbathing on the warm sand or catching some waves, one beachfront activity you must try is a beach ride on horseback. Horseback riding alongside the ocean is a life-changing experience. This is the perfect way for you and your family and friends to reconnect with nature and the unadulterated beauty of our state. imagine yourself with reigns in your hand, a picturesque view of the ocean, the salt air and blue sky. Forget technology and the stresses of daily life and see another side of the beaches, South Florida has to offer.

Just less than an hour drive from northern Palm Beach County in Hutchinson Island, Florida are the “Tours on Horseback” hosted by the Fredrick Douglass Memorial Park.
