From April 16th to April 18th, the Jupiter High School's Color Guard will be competing in the 2015 Color Guard World Championships put on by WGI in Dayton, Ohio.

The competition will begin on Thursday the 16th with the preliminary rounds, concluding with the finals on Saturday the 18th.

The Jupiter High Color Guard has had an incredibly memorable 2015 up to this point. In the month of March, they not only won their division in the Orlando area Color Guard finals, but they returned a few weeks later and won their division in the Southeast Regional Color Guard finals as well. Both times they scored the highest in Jupiter High School Color Guard history

As a result, the Jupiter High School Color Guard will make their first ever trip to the WGI World Championships and are projected at number four in their division heading into the WGI World Championships. Ironically enough, their show is titled 'It Was A Very Good Year' and is choreographed to the Frank Sinatra song of the same name.

WGI or Winter Guard International is the world's premier organization producing indoor color guard, percussion, and wind ensemble competitions.  As a non-profit youth organization, WGI serves as the leading governing body of the winter guard and indoor percussion activities.
