The Town of Juno Beach recently saw a major upgrade to the gym used by Police Officers and Town employees. Rob Thomson, owner of Waterfront Properties and Club Communities, and his brother Steve Thomson, President of Steve Thomson Homes saw the condition of the existing gym and offered their services. As huge supporters of law enforcement, the Thomson brothers offered their assistance.

Juno Beach is a quiet little community located between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. Although known for its gorgeous oceanfront estates and condominiums, Juno Beach is 43% protected park land or environmentally sensitive green space. This means that no matter where you look, there is one stunning view after another

The old gym was dated, lacking new equipment, and not appealing or functional for the police officers and employees to stay strong, fit, and healthy to serve the community effectively. The brothers saw the facility and decided to install new state-of-the-art training equipment. Additionally, they installed special flooring to create a modern, up-to-date facility for the Juno Beach Police Department. They contracted for the materials and equipment and picked up the more than $30,000 tab.

In appreciation of their contribution to the Town of Juno Beach, Chief of Police Brian Smith along with Mayor D.D. Halpern presented Rob and Steve with keys to the Town at the May 2022 Town Council Meeting.
