Living on the water in Florida is a dream come true for many people. Imagine waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore or taking a refreshing swim in the ocean after a long day at work. You could even enjoy a leisurely boat ride or fishing trip whenever you want from the comfort of your own dock. The lifestyle of living on the water in Florida is unparalleled. Being immersed in the beauty of palm trees, crystal clear water, and white sanded beaches every day is something that simply does not get old.

Here are just a few of the things you can enjoy when you live on the water in Florida:

  • The views. When you live on the water, you will have views of the ocean or the intracoastal waterway. This is a great way to relax, but it is also a great way to appreciate the natural beauty of Florida.
  • Water activities. There are endless water activities to enjoy in Florida, from swimming and sunbathing to fishing and boating. With almost too many places to go/see along the way, life on the water is an endless adventure.
  • A sense of community. There is a strong sense of community among people who live on the water. Many fellow boaters get together for boat parties, fishing tournaments, and other events. It is a great way to meet new people and make friends that could last a lifetime.
  • A more relaxed lifestyle. The pace of life is slower when you live on the water. There is no need to rush around, and you can take your time enjoying the simple things in life.

If you are deciding what kind of property is for you then you will have to decide if you are more of a beach person or Intracoastal person. Neither option is better than the other, it is strictly a preference thing.

Beachfront living provides direct access to the beach and ocean, allowing for walks and swims in the Atlantic at your disposal. The sound of waves and the coastal atmosphere create a therapeutic ambiance that is hard to match. On the other hand, living along the Intracoastal waterway offers a picturesque setting, with the opportunity to enjoy boating, kayaking, and fishing right from your backyard. Both options present a paradise-like escape, but beach living encapsulates the quintessential coastal experience, while Intracoastal living grants easy access to water activities.

Overall, living on the water is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Florida and the relaxed lifestyle that the sunshine state has to offer. However, it is important to do your research and make sure that you pick the perfect setting for you. But when you're on the water, there's hardly a bad option; only good and great.
