Brian Peaper, Lost Tree Club's Director of Golf, has been named the 2013 South Florida PGA Golf Professional of the Year.

Peaper, whi played college golf at Ball State University and the University of Indiana, has been the Director of Golf at the North Palm Beach Club since 1996. While he competes in South Florida PGA senior events from time to time, Peaper has found more success off the links then on it.

“I went into the business side of golf out of college,” Peaper said, “but it was different then. There are weather issues in Indiana that don’t exist here, and youth sports meant the occasional YMCA team then. Travel teams didn’t exist.”

His duties at Lost Tree include managing, teaching, facilitating, organizing, and more. In addition to his duties at Lost Tree, Peaper has also served as the South Florida PGA's section Vice President and President in the eight years that he has been a member.
