Make a Difference 5K – Carlin Park, Jupiter
Just days short of her 16th birthday, a Jupiter area caring young lady named Zoe Loren passed away. Her family and friends knew they lost someone very special. The bright and generous teen had touched so many lives. To keep her memory and spirit alive the Zoe Loren ‘Make a Difference’ Foundation was established.
The Zoe Loren Make a Difference Foundation keeps her essence alive through the good works of the foundation. Proceeds from years of 5K fun runs in Jupiter have been able to award scholarships and contribute funds to causes Zoe was zealous about.
Now in its 8th year, the Annual Zoe Loren 'Make A Difference' Foundation 5K Run/Walk will take place at Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida on Saturday, November 10, 2018. All proceeds from this event will be used for educational scholarships and to provide opportunities for growth and enrichment to under-served children in Palm Beach County. Great appreciation to media sponsor, Jupiter Magazine, for joining the worthy cause.
Come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather in South Florida there is something fun for the whole family to participate in at the event. Walk or run the 5K at the USATF certified course which starts in Carlin Park and runs south on beautiful A1A ending back in Carlin Park. The kids can join the 1-mile fun run or 100-yard dash. It’s a great opportunity to teach children about being philanthropic and helping the community. Register for the event here.
