Mr. StudFinder Charity Auction
The Mr. StudFinder Charity Auction is a benefit for Martin County's Habitat for Humanity Women Build program.
Businessmen from all over the area auction their company's services to raise money for Women Build, females who build homes for those in need. Some things up for bid include a ride in the Goodyear blimp, a sunset cruise, free kite boarding lessons for two, be a Sheriff or Fire Fighter for the day, and a dinner for six in your home prepared by a private chef.
The auction will be held on March 23rd at the brand new Hutchinson Shores Resort on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach. The VIP party starts at 5 p.m. and takes place beachside on the pool deck with hors d'ouevres, drinks, and a meet and greet with the "studs." VIP tickets are $125 per person and general tickets are $75.
“The whole point of Mr. StudFinder is to raise awareness for affordable housing in Martin County and raise funds for our Women Build home,” said Margot Graff, executive director of Habitat for Humanity Martin County, “The generosity of these local businessmen, and the chance to experience something new right here in your own backyard, really makes for a fun night.”
This is the 10th year of the auction, and this year the Women Build home will be for the Farias family in Indiantown.
Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity program encouraging females to have fun and make a difference by building homes and communities. Since its creation in 1998, the women crews have built thousands of homes all over the world.
