The buzzy downtown West Palm favorite, the Avocado Grill, is opening a second location Downtown at the Gardens.

The new bistro features a vibrant bar scene integrated with a large, chic dining room. The eatery has a modern, industrial look with blonde woods, rustic lighting, and incorporated art like their avocado tree sculpture made out of wood that is also wrapped with seating.

The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating on a nice patio. This location is larger than the other, totaling 4,200 square feet. This location will also be unveiling a lunch menu and a weekend brunch menu. However, dinner will still be the only thing being served for the next few weeks of opening.

Some added dishes on the dinner menu include Blow Torch Salmon, a lightly seared salmon plated with cucumber, jicama, mango and charred onion sauce; Miso-glazed Chilean Sea Bass, served with soy Brussels sprouts, carrots, beech mushrooms and crispy lotus root; and the BBQ Brisket Sandwich on marble rye bread with plantain and cabbage slaw, avocado-jalapeño dressing, and cheddar cheese.

The new location opens this Friday at 5 p.m. next to Yard House in the Downtown Gardens plaza. Reservations are recommended, call 561-766-2430.
