Palm Beach County’s Tour Championship Dates and Location Announced

The Palm Beach County Golf Association’s season ending Tour Championship will take place November 16-17 at The Fox Club in Palm City.
Presented and sponsored by Jupiter Island resident Tiger Woods and his foundation, the event will feature top 30 players from the regular point standings from the 2013 season as well as the top 15 players from the senior point standings.
The Tour Championship field will be comprised following the completion of the Abacoa Golf Junior Senior event. Golfers must compete in at least three PBCGA events to be eligible for the Tour Championship.
The Tour Championship will help determine the winners of both the Bankrate Cup and the Braman Cup. The Bankrate Cup will be awarded to the end of the year points leader in the regular division while the Braman Cup is awarded to the senior division points winner. In addition, the PBCGA Players of the Year awards will be handed out after the Tour Championship.
Through 14 PBCGA events, RJ Nakashian of Palm Beach Gardens leads the Bankrate Cup Standings by 173 points while Palm Beach Gardens resident Jimmy Key leads the Braman Cup standing by just three points.
