PGA Village in Port St Lucie Has Premier Golf School
The Dye Course at the PGA Village
The PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance is a 35-acre golf practice and training facility at the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie. Students are able to discover their weaknesses and receive training from the nation’s top PGA professionals. At the one of a kind facility, each student receives proper instruction in all areas of golf, including mental, physical, technical, equipment, and on course application.
The practice training facilities that are found at the PGA Village are some of the most impressive in the entire country. The practice facilities feature more than 100 full swing practice stations, a world class fitness and performance center, nine bunkers that simulate play from around the world, and a 7,000 square foot USGA putting green.
In addition to the private instruction offered, the center offers golf clinics and programs for people of all ages and skill levels. The golf shop features the top venders in golf including Callaway, Ping, Taylormade, Titleist, and Nike. The shop offers everything from apparel and clubs to training and fitness aids.
In addition to the top notch training and practice facilities, the PGA Village also has three championship golf courses as well as a 6-hole family short course. The Wanamker Course was named in honor of Rodman Wanamaker, who inspired the birth of the PGA of America. A classic Florida layout, Fazio's Wanamaker Course, is set against a backdrop of wetlands, palm trees and palmettos, and is considered one of Florida's most beautiful courses. The Ryder Course, named after Samuel Ryder who founded the Ruder Cup, has a distinctive Carolina-feel with its rolling hills, majestic pine trees, and challenging water hazards. The Dye Course, named after designer Pete Dye, features pine straw roughs, vast waste bunkers, and grass-based bunkers. The links-style course gives golfers a taste of the older British Isles’ courses with a Florida backdrop.
