Fishing Report 11.07.14

The weather forecast in the southeast region of Florida for this weekend may leave the ocean on the rougher side. As for Friday and Saturday, it will be the nicer of the days and Sunday will pick up some breeze and cause the marine forecast to be a bit bumpier. That being said it is predicted to be a fishy weekend!

OFFSHORE-
The north winds will be in the forecast causing the sailfish action! Search for the best action to be between 150’-300’ if your out of both Palm Beach and Jupiter inlets for the sailfish. Around the same areas, Dolphin fishing has been really good and showing up in great numbers along with a mixed assortment of other decent size fish. Kite fishing with live blue runners should definitely produce some hard bites from sailfish and/or dolphin. On the other line, the Cobia bite has been pushing south all on the wrecks so be ready when pulling up, for a better chance of hooking some up. Cobia’s enjoy live shrimp and squid too. Snapper fishing makes up for most of the bulk of the bottom catches.

INSHORE/SURF/PIER-
Snook fishing at night and around the bridges are still going good and they are switching up their meals from mullet to shrimp. The outgoing tide is the best time to reel in a snook. Flats’ fishing is improving as the weather is making a change.
The Juno Beach Pier has been known to hold a good number of fish right now, such as bluefish, Spanish mackerel and pompano which are all being caught on a daily basis. Lady fish and Jack crevelles remain in the mix as well.

Tight Lines and Enjoy the fishy weekend!
