The legendary sounds of jazz trumpet icon, Arturo Sandoval, are coming to Palm Beach. The only show he will be playing in Florida is going to be right in our backyard at the elegant Society of the Four Arts of Palm Beach on February 24, 2016.

Arturo Sandoval is one of the most celebrated jazz artists alive and his music has won 10 Grammy Awards and has been nominated 19 times. He has also received 6 Billboard Awards and an Emmy. The latter for his composing work on the entire underscore of the HBO movie based on his life, “For Love or Country” that starred Andy Garcia as Arturo. His two latest Grammy award winning albums, “Dear Diz “Everyday I think of you” and Tango “Como Yo Te Siento” are now available worldwide. Arturo Sandoval’s newest CD, Eternamente Manzanero. Performing the music of revered Mexican romantic pianist/singer/songwriter, Armando Manzanero, this is a true labor of love. Performing Senor Manzanero’s music with co-headliner Jorge Calandrelli, the album is a current and lovely take on his striking bolero music.

Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised as a protégé of the jazz legend master Dizzy Gillespie, Arturo Sandoval’s life has a tremendous influence on his style and creativity. Dizzy Gillispie was the first musician to bring Latin influences to American Jazz. “Sandoval began studying classical trumpet at the age of twelve, but it didn’t take him long to catch the excitement of the jazz world. He has since evolved into one of the world’s most acknowledged guardians of jazz trumpet and flugelhorn, as well as a renowned classical artist, pianist and composer.”

Be sure to buy your tickets to the one and only Arturo Sandoval performance in Florida at the Society of the Four Arts.
