The Palm Beaches are known as the Golf Capital of Florida for a reason. The county has more than 160 golf courses including PGA National, home of five championship courses played and designed by legends. Jack Nicklaus-designed course, "The Champion," at PGA features the infamous Bear Trap- one of the most formidable three-hole stretches in golf. Every year, top players congregate on the course to compete in the Honda Classic, a prime stop on the PGA TOUR.

Other notable courses in the area include The Breakers Ocean Course- Florida's oldest 18-hole course, Red Reef Executive Golf Course with some of the most picturesque views around, the Ibis Golf & Country Club- the only club in the world with three Nicklaus family-designed 18-hole championship courses, and the Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club which possesses on of the highest slope ratings in the state.

Like many other golf pros, Tiger Woods has decided to make the Golf Capital his home. Tiger has even opened up his own restaurant, The Woods, in Harbourside Place in Jupiter. The winner of 105 tournaments, 79 on the PGA TOUR including 14 major championships, the 11-time PGA "Player of the Year" is the first golfer to ever hold all four major championships at the same time.
