For the 49th consecutive year, Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach finds itself on Golf Digest's list of America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses.

The Donald Ross desinged course moved up one spot from last year's rankings from 13 to 12. Established in 1966, Golf Digest has featured Seminole in its rankings every year since the list began. It has been widely viewed as one of the most exclusive golf clubs in America but will open its doors in 2021 when the Walker Cup will be held on the property.

Seminole was not the only course in Florida to make the list either. The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass came in at #47 this year, down three spots from last year. The course with the famed island 17th hole plays home to THE Players Championship every year on the PGA Tour. Also making the list for the first time this year coming in at #100 is the Streamsong Red Course in Streamsong, Florida.

The biggest surprise though, might have come at the top of the list. After jockeying back and forth for the past 10 years, Augusta National once again overtook Pine Valley as the top course in the country. Cypress Point, Shinnecock Hills (home of the 2004 U.S. Open and future home of the 2018 U.S. Open), Merion (home of the 2013 U.S. Open), and Oakmont (home of the 2007 U.S. Open and future home of the event in 2016) round out the top five.

Some notable courses that will host PGA Tour events this year or in the near future on the list include Pebble Beach at #7 (AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am & countless U.S. Opens), Muirfield Village at #15 (the Memorial & 2013 Presidents Cup), Whistling Straights at #22 (2015 PGA Championship), Riviera CC at #24 (Northern Trust Open), and Pinehurst #2 at #28 (2014 Men's and Women's U.S. Open).
