If you aren't lucky enough to have a membership to Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, you might soon have an opportunity to check out one of the most exclusive and top rated courses in the country.

That's because Seminole Golf Club and the USGA have agreed to hold the 2021 edition of the Walker Cup, the amateur version of the famed Ryder Cup. The bi-annual competiton will mark the first time since Seminole opened up in 1929 that the famous course will hold an event that is open to the public.

The decision was made after Jimmy Dunne, the president of Seminole and native New Yorker, saw how well this year's Walker Cup went when it was held at National Golf Links in New York.

Seminole measures less than 7,000 yards, but with several prominant PGA Tour pros on its membership list, it has proven that it can withstand the latest in technology. At the last Member-Guest event, PGA Tour pro and Loxahatchee River resident Rickie Fowler shot a 65, which was the low score for the tournament.
