Sleep Health is a relatively new field of research exploring how people sleep and the influences that impact it. It is not easily defined. More than 22 million people in the United States report difficulty in getting a restful night of sleep.

From work and play to hectic weekend schedules, our everyday lives impact our sleep…and vice versa. According to the National Sleep Foundation, sleep is essential for a person's health and well-being. So far millions of people do not get sufficient sleep, and many suffer from lack of sleep.

This week, Jupiter Medical Center is offering several lecture series and events to educate the public about sleep disorders. The engaging talks will highlight the importance of good sleep habits and how it impacts someone’s personal best.
