SLIP, SLIDE, and SPLASH INTO SUMMER FUN
Current temperatures have been in the mid 80’s and the Jupiter area sun has been smiling down on the beach. It has been picture perfect! The weather is just what the local Chamber of Commerce dreams of for public relations – glistening sun on crystal turquoise blue Atlantic Ocean waves and balmy breezes! Fun filled days at the beach are endless. Picnics at the ocean, boating, jet skiing, kite surfing, or a quite read under a coconut palm may never become repetitive.
Well, there are other ways to enjoy the sunshine and stay refreshed. Slip, slide, and splash in one of few local Jupiter area water parks.
The largest water park in South Florida, just minutes from Jupiter, is The Rapids. It features 35 slides, a quarter mile lazy river, and a 25,000 square foot wave pool! This water park has something for all ages from the young to young at heart. It is open daily from 10:00am – 7:00pm through September 30th.
A short ride north of Jupiter, in Stuart, Martin County opened Sailfish Splash Water Park. Plenty of water fun will be had all summer long here on the four story tall waterslides. Race down the high speed enclosed flume or enjoy the lazy river ride. Children can have a blast playing in a 7,300 square foot children’s pool featuring slides, jets, sprays, and a huge 300 gallon dumping bucket! Sailfish Splash is open daily 10:00am – 6:00pm until August 19 then weekends.
