Brunch enthusiasts and cocktail fanatics mark your calendars, May 16, 2022, is National Mimosa Day! It is on this day you have a legitimate excuse to drink Mimosa is all day, not just at brunch. This classic mixed drink, which is equal parts brut champagne and fruit juice, usually orange juice, has become a brunch staple and a popular drink at weddings.

Mimosas do not have to be made with orange juice. Everyone knows Southeast Florida have the best orange juice in America. Try substituting it with your favorite fruit juice instead. Get creative switch orange juice for cranberry, grapefruit, peach, or blueberry juice. They all go well with champagne. You can toss a few berries or fruit slices in as well to give it extra flavor and make it look even prettier.

If you prefer not to have alcohol there is always the non-alcoholic mimosa version. If you are under twenty-one or would simply fancy a non-alcoholic option, then you are in luck! Mimosas are just as delicious and refreshing when substituting ginger ale for champagne. Sparkling juices, such as sparkling apple cider, are also good substitutes for champagne.

Raise a glass or a flute and toast to National Mimosa Day!

Cheers!
