The 2018 edition of the southXeast: Contemporary Southeastern art is a collection of current art from emerging and underrepresented mid-career artists from several southeastern cities.

The art will be on display at the Florida Atlantic University Ritter Art Gallery. The aim is simple for the exhibit: for students and other audiences to benefit by seeing high quality artwork not commonly seen but still happening in South Florida. The area is a growing center of contemporary art activity, and becoming known globally for it.

Come support our area's increasing art culture and see the unique approaches to contemporary art making. Discover the studio art disciplines taught in FAU’s Department of Visual Arts and Art History at the Ritter Gallery.

The exhibit will be on display January 20th through March 3rd. There is no cost to enter the gallery.
