Spring Training at Rodger Dean in Abacoa Right Around the Corner
In just a little more than 6 weeks, Major League Baseball will make it's return to Abacoa when the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals come back to their home away from home as they prepare for the 2015 MLB season.
That's right Jupiter, Spring Training 2015 is right around the corner and will feature some of the best players and teams in professional baseball once again.
Spring Training gets its unnoficial start at Roger Dean Stadium on Monday, March 2nd when the Marlins take on Florida International University. After another exhibition game against the University of Miami on the 3rd, Spring Training officially kicks off on Thursday, March 5th when the two tennants (Marlins and Cardinals) square off against each other. In fact, the Marlins and Cardinals will face each other a total of six times in the month of March.
When the two aren't playing each other, both the Marlins and Cardinals will welcome some of the top teams in Major League Baseball to "The Dean" during spring training, including the New York Mets, the Washington Nationals, the Detroit Tigers, the Atlanta Braves, and the Boston Red Sox.
