The Cardinals
The St Louis Cardinals were formed way back in 1882. It took them just a few years to get going and once they hit their stride, there was no stopping them. The Cardinals started off by winning four pennants between 1885 and 1888. They then went on to lift their first World Series trophy in 1926. It was followed by another pennant in 1928. They proceeded to get their hands on three pennants and two World Series titles in the 1930s to become the team to beat of that era.
The St Louis Cardinals have now won a total of eleven World Series titles, twenty-three pennants and thirteen division championships. No other team apart from the New York Yankees has won more World Series championships than them. They are the most successful team in the National League as well in terms of World Series triumphs.
They will be one of the favorites once again this season. As they get ready for upcoming campaign, get your St Louis Cardinals Port Saint Lucie tickets and watch them in action against the Mets, live at the Tradition Field.
