For 25 years in a row, tens of thousands of art lovers have attended Lakeworth’s Annual Street Painting Festival. With more than 600 artists on the pavement, music on the mainstage, restaurants, shops, festival food court and bistro, this is an event you’re sure to enjoy.

Festival History

Since its creation in 1995 by a small group of Lake Worth residents led by Erin Allen and Maryanne Webber, the Street Painting Festival has grown into the most highly anticipated free cultural event in South Florida. Modeled after the Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival in Santa Barbara, California, the art of street painting has attracted onlookers since the 16th century, when crowds would gather to watch as itinerant artists created masterworks on the cobblestones. Now in its third decade, the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival attracts 100,000 visitors each year.
