Summer is almost here and for those of you with kids, summer camp is a great solution to entertaining your children. Palm Beach County is chock full of summer camps for kids in elementary, middle and high school. The camps are often divided up into different categories including art, music, sports, educational, city and county camps. 

The art camps will focus on enhancing skill in singing, dancing and the areas of drama and theater. Sports camps are a popular choice in Florida, where kids can pick from basketball, baseball, soccer, football, tennis, water sports and more. Some of the educational camps will enrich skills such as research, creativity and etiquette. Miscellaneous camps often include team building activities and some of them are focused for a certain religion or heritage.  Water camps are among some of the most popular camps for young Floridians. Florida cities such as Jupiter and Juno Beach can offer a unique aquatic setting for fun activities like surfing, fishing, boating, diving and paddle boarding. There are even great educational camps, such as the one at Loggerhead where kids can learn about sea turtles, their life cycles, how they nest and even help with the recuperation of injured turtles.
