On a summers night, what could be more romantic than a breathtaking sunset and a stroll through a peaceful garden with someone you love? Partake in something new this weekend, try the Sushi and Stroll Summer Walks at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach. Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is having a cultural event this Friday, July 12, 2018 from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.   They welcome guests to take part in the occasional chance to stroll the gardens at sunset during their Sushi & Stroll evening.

Visit the 6 distinct Japanese inspired gardens within the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens.  Make the special evening complete and enjoy the finest Japanese sake, Pan-Asian cuisine, food trucks and ice-cold beer. Be inspired by performances by South Florida’s unique taiko drumming group, Fushu Daiko with performances at 6:30pm, 7:15pm and 8:00pm.  All presentations will be sold on a first come, first served basis starting at 5:30pm.

Summer twilights in Delray Beach are a unique experience. Delray Beach has been esteemed as the “Most Fun Small Town” by Rand McNally. Coastal Living Magazine and USA Today and Travel Channel named it in the “Top 10 Happiest Seaside Towns”.  The town boasts two miles of some of the prettiest beach in Palm Beach County. There is, plenty to do here and the beach is only the beginning. Town officials claim “this exciting, elegant and yet unpretentious oasis of the county has temptations to tantalize any temperament. With culture, sports, art, shopping, nightlife and much more, there are so many ways to enjoy a day in beautiful Delray.”

The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is a nice spot to begin enjoying a Delray Beach summer. For more information please contact the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens.  Hours of Admission:   Tuesday – Sunday, 10am -5pm.
