Swings and Wings Event Comes To Roger Dean Stadium

On Saturday July 20, Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa will present Swings and Wings, a night of baseball and chicken wings.

Swings and Wings will feature a wing cook off where local participants get to put their wings up against the competition with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners announced. The judges of the cook off will be a mixture of local radio hosts and fans.

All this will be taking place while the home town Jupiter Hammerheads takes on the Tampa Yankees in Florida State League play.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and Florida State League season ticket holders can purchase tickets for $18. The price of the event includes a ticket for the baseball game, all-you-can-eat wings from the cook off, and once complimentary beverage.

The first 500 people to purchase their tickets will also receive a free Budweiser 2011 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Champions beer stein.
