Downtown West Palm Beach has about a week before the Sandi, 700-pound Christmas tree display must be removed. This also holds true for the giant Ferris wheel on the great lawn. Thousands have flocked to see the festive lights, live music, holiday displays, and music light show on the waterfront. December 31, 2022, will be Sandi’s Last Night is on New Year’s Eve.  Save the date for Sandi’s final swan song. Sandi’s nightly music and light show begins at 6:00 p.m. and are extended until midnight.

An amazing indoor playspace for kids is We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym in Tequesta. This super clean and friendly children’s gym is full of fun things for little ones. With suspended swings, a huge trampoline, climbing walls, and even a zip line, it’s no wonder this gym has earned such a big following since its recent opening.

Two kid-loving families opened the gym. They have a background in child education and development and offer local kids the best tools and fun for their growing needs. Have you ever wanted to learn how to play pickleball? Palm Beach County has lots of Pickleball courts to practice on. Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court (20’ x 44’).  The ball is served diagonally, starting with the right-hand service-square, and points can only be scored by the side that serves.

Players on each side must let the ball bounce once before volleys are allowed, and there is a seven-foot no-volley zone on each side of the net, to prevent “spiking.” The server continues to serve, alternating service courts, until he or she faults. The first side scoring eleven points and leading by at least two points wins. Pickleball can be played with singles or doubles.
