The exhibit "Georgia O'Keeffe: Living Modern" at the Norton Museum of Art,1450 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach casts new light on the woman, her art, and her clothing. The O’Keeffe exhibition features 184 paintings, photographs and pieces of her clothing. "Georgia O'Keeffe: Living Modern" is on view now at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach through February 2, 2020.

There hasn’t been and artist in the twentieth century quite like Georgia O’Keeffe. The brilliant modernist is the focus of the captivating exhibit. O’Keeffe is associated with the Southwest of the United States.  In addition to be being recognized for her New York Skyscapers, she is well known for the vibrant, abstract landscapes and flowers she created in the Southwest.

Art enthusiasts are invited to join the Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery and School of Art, located at 373 Tequesta Drive, in Tequesta. Unite with Lighthouse ArtCenter members and associates on the third Thursday evening of each month. The next evening is scheduled for December 19, 2019 at 5:30 pm.

South Florida loves the arts!  The Art in State Buildings Program attains artwork for new public facilities built within the Sunshine State with state funding. This program requires “that up to .5% of the construction appropriation be set aside to acquire artwork for permanent display in, on or around the facility”.

The Society of Four Arts, 100 Four Arts Plaza,  Palm Beach, is honored to present the “A Shared Legacy: Folk Art in America” exhibit.  This unique exhibition offers a splendid presentation of American traditional art made mainly in rural areas of New England, the Midwest, and the South between 1800 and 1920.

This exhibition showcases more than 60 works by some of the most esteemed 19th-century American artists. The Maltz Jupiter Theatre, 1001 East Indiantown Road, Jupiter, has begun the run of the enjoyable hit musical Mamma Mia! through February 10, 2019.   It’s an energetic and upbeat musical featuring the popular band, ABBA, hits like “Dancing Queen” and “Take a Chance on Me,” this story shadows a soon to be bride, Sophie and her fiancé on the road to their wedding nuptials in Greece. After reading her mother’s diary from years ago, she finds out that her dad could be one of three men. Forgetting to mention anything to her mother, Sophie invites all three men to her wedding.  Sophie struggles to figure out which of her mother’s old boyfriends is her biological father.
