Veterans Day is all about honoring those who have served our country. It is a time for Americans to pay respects to those who have served. It is with Honor, Respect and Gratitude…Thank you!

The holiday started as a day to reflect upon the heroism of those who died in our country's service and was originally called Armistice Day. It fell on November 11th, 1918, as that was the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. Nonetheless, in 1954, the holiday was changed to Veterans Day to incorporate all veterans in all wars.  When originally celebrated as Armistice Day, the day marked the end of World War I, formally recognized on the “11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month” in 1918. The Town of Palm Beach Gardens Green Market will be honoring all who served this Veteran’s Day with a dedicated green market Sunday, November 11, 2019.  The beautiful fall and winter climate here in South Florida are so agreeable, it summons a visit to the Gardens Green Market, 10500 North Military Trail, PBG, every Sunday 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The “Honoring All Who Served” event will be this weekend.
