For more than 80 years, the Okeechobee County Cattlemen’s Association has brought cowboy heritage to South Florida.  The Okeechobee Rodeo, also known as “Cow Town” Rodeo is an official stop on the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA).

The Okeechobee Rodeo is believed to be the second longest running rodeo in the State of Florida.  The longest running rodeo is the Silver Spurs Rodeo in Kissimmee, which will hold its 136th annual event this year.  Okeechobee is just 50 miles west of Palm Beach County, one of Florida’s premiere agriculture communities.
