Polo America is hosting a four-barn tour for polo enthusiasts in Wellington. Guests will tour 4 of the largest and most prestigious barns in Wellington and attend a polo match to benefit the Semper Fi Fund.

These barns include Santa Rita Polo Farm, Black Watch, Bourns Sport Horses Barn and one yet to be announced. There are 4 tours with starting times of 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 10:45a.m. Luxury buses will transport attendees to each barn.

Tickets are $55 per person and include bus transport, hospitality at several barns, gift bags and a ticket to the Grand Champions polo game.

This is the perfect event for horse and polo lovers who want a behind-the-scenes look at the “sport of kings.”

Wellington is known as the Equestrian Winter Capital of the World and on Sunday’s, the International Polo Club hosts a Polo match now until April. Every Sunday socialites, local and international celebrities, friends and family gather at the Polo field to watch some of the world’s greatest horses and athletes compete in world class tournaments. 

Polo is horseback mounted team sport and is known as one of the world’s oldest team sports. The game is played by two opposing teams whose main goal is to score points by hitting a small ball using a long-handled mallet across the field through the opposites team’s goal.

Mark your calendars to attend the highest rated polo tournament in North America! The annual Lucchese 40-Goal Challenge to benefit the Polo Players Support Group (PPSG) returns to the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC) in Wellington, Florida on Saturday, February 16.

The Lucchese 40-Goal Polo Challenge is the marquee fundraising event of the PPSG, which provides financial assistance to seriously injured or ill players and grooms.

The purchase of a VIP Package includes tickets to cocktail reception, seated dinner, and silent and live auctions following the 40-Goal match and awards presentation on the field. Over $320,000 was raised last year!

The new United States Polo Association Clubhouse was opened January 26 for the 2019 equestrian season with rave reviews. The Dutta Corp and Patagones polo teams will play each other at the Joe Barry Cup Final on Sunday after playing the qualy games and this final is a rematch between the 2 teams like the at the Herbie Pennell Cup while SD Farm and Santa Clara will take part on the Bobby Barry Cup Subsidiary Final on Saturday.
