 55 and Bolder: Health, Wellness, and Science is a 1-hour program offered by Loggerhead MarineLife Center, 14200 U.S. Highway 1, in Juno Beach. The marine life center has collaborated with the medical professionals from St. Mary’s Medical Center, in West Palm Beach. A 98-year-old World War II veteran took quite a ride on Saturday. Walter Alesi, a resident of Stuart, joined the Marine Corps out of high school after the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Alesi and four of his brothers served in World War II.

Alesi was gifted a flight from Stuart's Witham Field in a Boeing Stearman biplane courtesy of Dream Flights. Dream Flights is a non-profit organization dedicated to “giving back to those who gave”.  The Dream Flights organization was established and dedicated to honoring seniors and military veterans.

Tiger Woods designated $83,333.00 from his Match Play earnings to Palm Beach County charity, Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches.  The West Palm Beach based organizations mission “is to nourish and enrich the lives of homebound seniors by delivering fresh food daily with compassion and love.  As a 501c(3) non-profit, we provide these services to those in need in Palm Beach County without any government funding.  Our program is exclusively funded by the generosity of our community including foundations, individual donors, corporate partners, special events and fundraisers.”
