A unique new tapas bar just opened on the up-and-coming Lucerne Avenue in Lake Worth.

The bar is called "Three of Hearts," and their menu includes small plates, wine, local beers, and board games. The spot is a blended gastro bar and game room, offering 22 games from Rummikub to Jenga, Scrabble, and Clue.

Owner Robin Popelsky opened Three of Hearts in honor of her sister who passed away from cancer last year. Robin's dream was always to open a restaurant, and her sister's death urged her to do so. The board game element has the purpose of bringing people together and is a throwback to childhood and some of our favorite pastimes.

The menu includes meat and cheese boards, sourdough and brioche sliders, mac and cheese, grilled cheese bites, potato skewers, and salads. There’s also a small Sunday brunch menu featuring egg ravioli, French toast bites, and Eggs Benedict. Unlimited mimosas are also offered at Sunday brunch for $15. The drink menu has seasonal sangrias as well as wine and beer. The current sangrias are a white sangria infused with honey and sage, and a clove-scented red sangria.

The new tapas bar has some fun specials like "Think & Drink Trivia" on Tuesdays (7:30 p.m.), "Winesday Wednesdays" with half-prices glasses, and Happy Hour on Fridays from 4-7 p.m. with half-priced draft beer and wine.

Three of Hearts is open Tuesday-Friday from 3-10 p.m., Saturday 2-11 p.m., and Sunday for brunch from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Lunch will begin to be served next week.

Come check out this cute, quaint, family-owned spot on the growing Lucerne Avenue in Lake Worth.
