THE 4TH ANNUAL SEEK IN THE CITY within DELRAY BEACH
“Scavengers hunt supporting Delray Beach’s Charities.”
So, do you think you know Delray Beach, Florida? Then prove it! A scavenger hunt will be taking place in downtown Delray Beach on Saturday, June 27, 2015 and this year will include more Clue Stop locations than ever. This is a chance to learn about one of South Florida’s great towns. Each team can have a maxiumum of 5 people and must stay together at all times or sign up individually. You can win money, too: $1,000, $500 and $250 for first, second and third place, respectively. Note: A car and a smart phone with a bar-code scanner app are needed. Afterward, hang out downtown and enjoy some of the great eateries and night spots.
The Scavenger Hunt Mission:
Figure out the clues and visit as many local businesses and special locations as you can.
Earn points along the way by “Checking in” at each clue stop location and uplading a photo using your smartphone.
The team with the most points at the end of the scavenger hunt wins.

“Well, it's not just about the "Hunt". It's about having a fun-filled day with friends, neighbors, and colleagues, learning about Delray Beach and its local businesses, while supporting and raising money for education. The majority of proceeds benefit Education Initiatives, specifically:
• Campaign for Grade Level Reading
• Help fund our commitment for the Council for Educational Change Grant (The Annenberg Foundation Grant) awarded to Carver Middle School that supports organizational and personal leadership initiatives.
THE SCHEDULE!
Kick Off & Awards Ceremony is at the Delray Beach Elks Lodge, 265 NE 4th Ave
• 2:00 – Check In / Announcements & Rules / Clues distributed
• 3:00 – 6:00 – Scavenger Hunt throughout Delray Beach
• 6:00 – Teams return, Check In, Storytelling and Snacks & Beverages served
• 6:30 – Awards Ceremony
