In 3 weeks, the German American Club of the Treasure Coast will once again celebrate the famous Bavarian holiday, “Oktoberfest,” with a weekend full of fun.

The German beer “holiday” is a 16 to 18-day folk festival running from late September to the first weekend in October, with nearly 7 million people participating in events around the world. In Port St. Lucie, the celebration will be held on October 5th and 6th at the Civic Center with fun events like a craft show, live entertainment, plenty of authentic German food and vendors, and of course a variety of local and non-local craft brews. There will be the annual favorite Brat eating contest, traditional Stein holding competition, a German beer garden, bounce houses, kid activities and much more.

Admission to this family-fun event is totally free!

Times are from 5-10 p.m. on Friday and 2-10 p.m. on Saturday.

For more information call PSL Parks & Rec at 772-878-2277.

The civic center is located at 9221 SE Civic Center Pl, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
