From first time runners to seasoned athletes, the Color Run caters to everyone. Some Color Runners participate as a celebration of their healthy living accomplishments, while others participate for reasons unique to them. This larger than life event is equipped with music, dancing and massive color throws, which create millions of vibrant color combinations. There are only two rules to follow:

1. Wear white at the starting line.
2. Finish plastered in color.

The untimed event has no winners or prizes, but runners are showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at stations along the run. The Color Run takes the sport to a whole new level of fun. Runners begin the 5km race wearing all white, like a raw canvas waiting to be splattered with fun hues and designs. They will pass through a color station once every kilometer. Each color station is associated with a different color, with volunteers blasting the runners with dyed cornstarch out of spray bottles. After the Color Runners complete the race, the fun continues with a Finish Festival.

The Color Run promotes healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”. They are the original paint race and have created a completely new genre of running events that continues to grow. Now the single largest event series in the world, The Color Run has exploded. They have hosted more than 300 events in 50+ countries. The Color Run will be in Florida in 2016.
