Florida is home to some of the most interesting and beautiful lighthouses in the nation. With rich history and incredible stories behind these iconic lighthouses, they make a great destination to visit whether you are local or visiting and each one has its own story. The Jupiter lighthouse has been an emblem of the seaside town of Jupiter since what seems like the beginning of time. You almost never see a photo or hear about Jupiter without the lighthouse.  

A fun event for locals in Jupiter to try is the Jupiter Lighthouse Coffee & book club. “Join the Lighthouse Museum staff in a monthly book discussion on all things Florida.” Every first Wednesday of the month, the staff and members of the community gather to enjoy a cup of coffee and chat about the month’s book about Florida’s amazing heritage. The books are both non-fiction and fiction and coffee and teas are always available. 

The Lighthouse Coffee & Book Club meets the first Wednesday of every month in the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum Café. The get-togethers are free but a donation to the museum is greatly appreciated.
