The Nation’s Best Beach Towns Right Here in Palm Beach County

Many people dream of owning a home in paradise, but popular belief is that it’s unattainable because living on the water is “more expensive.” Contrarily, there are quite a few beach towns across America that are the oceanfront oasis people want without the associated high living costs.

Two Palm Beach County towns are in the Top 20 Best Beach Towns to Live In by WalletHub, an online credit and finance corporation. Data compared 205 coastal cities around the country factoring 58 indicators of livability. Using a point system based off six different elements; affordability, weather, safety, economy, education, health and quality of life. Boca Raton and Jupiter made the list at numbers 7 and 11 respectively, and North Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Lantana and Boynton Beach all ranked in the upper half of the list as well. The town that earned the number one spot was Lahaina in Hawaii.
