Guest Conductor Gerard Schwarz will be leading the Palm Beach Symphony in a rendition of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K 414 and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 in E Major this Friday at the Kravis Center.

The show will also include a performance by legendary Pianist Leon Fleisher. In the 1950s, Fleisher signed an exclusive recording contract with Columbia Masterworks. He is particularly well known for his interpretations of the piano concerti of Brahms and Beethoven, which he recorded with George Szell and the Cleveland Orchestra. They also recorded Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 25, the Grieg and Schumann piano concertos, Franck's Symphonic Variations, and Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.

Gerard Schwarz, also known as Gerry Schwarz or Jerry Schwarz, is an American conductor and trumpeter. Currently, Schwarz serves as the Director of Orchestral Activities and Music Director of the Frost Symphony Orchestra at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami

If you and your family have never been to a genuine concert performance, this is the one to go to. The Palm Beach Symphony playing together with Gerard Schwarz and Leon Fleisher is not something you’re going to want to miss.
