If you are interested in African culture, this is a terrific opportunity to be introduced to Kwanzaa. The Square (formerly Rosemary Square and CityPlace) in West Palm Beach, is hosting an Afrique Ngozi Dance and Drums Kwanzaa Performance. The show will be Monday, December 27, 2021, at 7:00 pm.

Kwanzaa is a holiday honoring the culture and traditions of people of African origin. It is celebrated by people from a range of African countries and their descendants.

The seven principles of Kwanzaa are Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith. Maulana Karenga created Kwanzaa in 1966. It is a week-long celebration honoring African heritage.

Afrique Ngozi Dance and Drums is bringing an immersive celebration of Kwanzaa to The Square. This free, family-friendly event will explore the seven principles that makeup Kwanzaa and feature live West African dancing and drumming.
