The group raises money to help support the cadets through care packages, birthday gift cards, send-off picnics, and annual cadet activities.

The West Point Parent Club of the Palm Beaches' mission is to provide assistance, encouragement and support to the U.S. Military Academy cadets in a service area that spans from Vero Beach to Boca Raton. Currently the organization supports 17 cadets.

Registration for the golf event begins at 8am with the shotgun start at 8:30. The tournament is $125 per player and $400 for a foursome. Included in the price is the round of golf, a gift bag, beer, soft drinks, and snacks on the course, and the awards luncheon following the golf event. Guests looking to attend the luncheon only can do so for $35.
